We are at the beginning of the most important decade ever for our planet, and a major step change in collective policy action is required if we are to prevent the most dangerous impacts of climate change. To this end, the Global Net Zero Summit will bring together Ministers, policy experts, entrepreneurs, industry leaders and investors who are playing a leading role in accelerating the energy transition and charting the course to net zero across the world.
Achieving net zero means radically and urgently reducing greenhouse gas emissions in all aspects of our economy and society by accelerating the deployment of zero-carbon solutions such as renewable energy, and developing new solutions to limit impacts on the environment.
Is your company leading the race to net zero emissions? Become a sponsor of the Global Net Zero Summit to showcase your solutions and strategies to achieve Net Zero, build your network with investors, policymakers, and businesses, and be part of key discussions that will lay out the world’s path to become carbon neutral.
Leaders from across different communities and disciplines will be convened on a common platform to take stock of the widening gap between necessary policy interventions and market realities. The event will serve as a scene-setter ahead of the crucial COP26 proceedings in November 2021, culminating in a multi-stakeholder Call to Action which outlines both shared and sector-specific recommendations to meet Net Zero obligations.
London is the epicentre of the energy transition, a hotbed for commercial activity in Europe and the headquarters for many international businesses. The United Kingdom is one of the countries spearheading change along with Denmark, South Korea, New Zealand, Japan, China, France, Sweden and Hungary who have committed to net-zero emissions.
The event will take place prior to the United Kingdom government hosting the COP26 meeting in November 2021.
